जन्म, मृत्यु एवं मृत जन्म का पंजीकरण घटना के 21 दिन के भीतर कराना अनिवार्य है। 

जन्म का पंजीकरण बच्चे के नाम के साथ और उसके बिना भी किया जा सकता है। 

पंजीकरण की तारीख से 12 महीने के भीतर बच्चे के नाम की प्रविष्टि की जा सकती है। 12 महीने के बाद शुल्क देकर नाम दर्ज कराया जा सकता है।

It is compulsory to register birth, death and Stillbirth within 21 days of occurrence. 

A birth can be registered with and without the name of the child. Entry of the child's name can be done within 12 months from the date of registration. After 12 months, the name can be registered by paying a fee.
